Which player should have won the Heisman?

Rushing:167 attempts, 806 yds, 8 Td's

Honestly for me it also depends who they played. If one QB is from one of the major conferences and the other is from the Sun Belt it makes a differance.

Player A is from UGA. team was undefeated national champs.

Player B is from Miami. Im not sure where they ended up in the season.

^Agreed. Now having said that, if they are both from power conferences then I would have to say player B would get my vote.

Player B (and probably by quite a large margin).

what would make you give him your vote? the rushing yds?

I'd vote for Player A, most likely. His QB rating was 34 points higher, he threw 43 more completions on eight less passes, almost a thousand more passing yards, four less interceptions and he averaged over 300 passing yards a game.

Not only that but he did so behind what was apparently a terrible offensive line, being sacked 62 times. As for his rushing, I think it's evident that A.) He's a Pocket Passer and B.) He couldn't run even if he wanted to with that line. His rushing stats look bad but you have to factor in that 62 of those 126 attempts were sacks. That brings his attempts down to 64 which is a lot more reasonable as far as rushing goes. And even though he fell short in comparison in the rushing game when compared to his counterpart, he only had one less rushing touchdown. Even when you factor in Player B's rushing yards with his passing yards, he still has 150 total yards less than Player A. So with all of that said, he only really beats Player A in Touchdowns by 5. When you compare those 5 Additional Touchdowns to 150 Less Overall Yards, a Better O-Line, 4 more Interceptions and a 34 point smaller QB rating...he should fall short of winning the Heisman to Player A.

I'm going with player A. The reason is because he led the undefeated national champs. Also has a better completion percentage, less passing attempts, less interceptions, better QB rating.
