CPU hurry up offense

I wish they would just keep your defense in the same play that you called at the beginning of the sequence instead of making you select a new play. It seems like it takes for ever for the "play selection" screen to pop up. It would be easier to just let the defense remain in the same play called before the hurry up and allow us to adjust our play selection with a defensive audible and/or defensive hot routes.

It seems like there is a 4-5 second delay. Anyone else annoyed by this?

1. I can tell you're on PS3.
2. I can tell you don't have all the patches.

There was a PS3 specific bug where the no huddle play call screens took too long to come up (I'm on 360 so I never saw this) but it was fixed in a patch (probably the latest).

Update your game and it should go away.

Yes I'm on PS3. I bought it off of PSN Saturday and it updated. I'll check today to see if there are any more updates. I hope they did fix it. Thanks for the reply.

Maybe other PS3 guys can comment. Everything I read from them said that a patch fixed it, but being a 360 guy, anything I say about it is all hearsay.

Re: CPU hurry up offense

Speaking of CPU no huddle, do you guys see it happening too often? It seems any play that stays in bounds for positive yards the CPU runs a no huddle every time

I'm only seeing no huddle used by teams that have coaches set to "aggressive" for no huddle or situations that warrant no huddle like under 3:00 minutes of the 2nd and 4th quarters or when I'm trapped in a formation that the offense can exploit like base 4-3 when the offense has 3 receivers and a tight end on the field. A lot of teams will use no huddle during games to achieve different goals, this is what I'm seeing in games.

Re: CPU hurry up offense

It sounds like my issue is not the same since I am on Xbox. But post play, the game doesn't respond to button mashing for 2 or 3 seconds. Doesn't sound like much, but really adds up over the course of a full game. I find it very irritating. And I know I am in the minority as I haven't seen many others complain about it. '13 was this way too, but if you pop in '12, you'll notice you can bring up the playcall screen much faster.
