Dynasty question...what do you guys think

Lets say you run a certain type of offense that requires O-linemen be lets say 290-330 pounds. You are recruiting one that is like 280 pounds and he commits. Do you think it would be fair to bump him up a bit to your liking so he fits in your offense, say he "hit the weight room" in the offseason?

I was under the impression that weight didn't affect anything in the game. Is this not true?

Nah it really doesnt affect it that much but like obviosly if a 320 lb player is going at a 170 lb player the heavier will win but im just trying to have a more realistic dynasty. (Ex. not recruiting small O lineman for a pro style O)

That's not true. Weight doesn't matter. Ratings do. If you've got a bunch of 170 lb highly rated O-linemen going up against a bunch of 300+ lowly rated D-linemen, the O-linemen will dominate.
