Putting the team name across the jersey

I have seen people do a really good job plastering the schools name across the front of the jersey (ie TEXAS, COLORADO, etc...) but yet I can't figure out how to do this to save my life.

Do you need to get just plain text of the schools name and then add it as a logo? Whenever I try that the name just appears on the front of the jersey in very small print.

You don't need to do a logo. You can enter the text...

I must be blind! I have tried that, but It always come across as microscopic. I know I'm missing something...

It lets you set the font and font size. Try medium or large. And just to be clear, it's not a logo, it's an option on the front of the jersey that says "chest text".

Also, in my experience, they tend to not look so good with a border. I never put a border on my text.


Also keep in mind, the text does appear slightly larger in game.

There are a few different examples of different fonts and sizes amongst my teams.

Take a look at ...

Northeastern, West Florida, Mobile, Galveston, Louisiana GCU, New Orleans, etc. just to name a few. Various font styles and sizes, but I've seen them all in game and they all appear perfectly fine. All of the text on the uniform front for all of these teams was created using the text edit box in the team builder, not by creating a logo.

I disagree on this one. It depends on the uniform and color combos of course, but I've made some teams that look great with the border on the text. You will find that in TeamBuilder the borders sometimes to look awful, but in game they look nice. There are, unfortunately, several things in TeamBuilder that don't show up exactly the same way in the game, including some colors.

Are you using Team Builder '10 or Team Builder '11?

I was wondering the same thing a few weeks ago before I realized I was using Team Builder 2010 which doesn't give you the option to put text across the front of the jersey.
