Never really did anything with teambuilder so forgive me if my questions are no-brainers..
1) if you have a dynasty, can you add teambuilder teams without replacing other teams?
2) if you create or download a teambuilder team, can you edit the players through the games edit roster screen?

Nope, if you use a teambuilder team for dynasty mode you have to replace an existing team

Also a no, only way to edit a teambuilder team in-game after you've downloaded them is through dynasty mode.
