Re: Smitty's Sliders = Good Results!

I'm currently going into week 6 of my Dolphins career, and Trent Green has a perfect passer rating, so I'll give these a shot. Got nothing to lose at this point. Probably wont be until I get home tonight though.

Re: Smitty's Sliders = Good Results!

Well Denver ended up killing us. 31-3

My Qb's couldn't get anything going today, denver kept the pressure on all day. I believe this sliders set is showing all sorts of promise. BTW I'm loving this game, it's friggin great.. Here's the stats;

Den 31 At Atl 3 (this is the first time I've felt helpless in this game)

328 Total off 113
46 rush 71
282 pass 42 (I couldn't complete nothing)
16 1st 7
0 TO 0
8/10 3rd 2/9
3-40 Pent 8-66

Den

J. Cutler 20/24 292 2td,0int
S. Alexander 23-52 2td's 0fum
C. Henry 8 - 80 1td

Atl

B.Brohm 5/14 69 0td,0int
B. Quinn 1/3 5 0td,0int
D. McFadden 8 - 44 0td,0fum
M. Turner 4 - 19 0td,0fum
B. Berrian 2 - 29 0td

As you can see, Denver's defense was very aggressive and destroyed my pass. I was helpless and couldn't do anything on offense. I feel these sliders are coming together quite well. The 0 for D Awr, is very making the game fun.

Interesting, B. Brohm sucks for you, but is like an MVP for the Dolphins. The Doliphins (Jcool) has Brohm, and he's lighting it up.

I run M.Mularkey's power run offense and he was like a MVP before the change. Since I've switch to these sliders, he's turned into a rookie. Overall I'm happy when his skill level came down a bit.

This current set of sliders is allowing me to enjoy the game more than the default ones. You should try them out Clay, it won't hurt nothing

After one half, I'm really liking these. The 0-Awareness thing is for real.

Care to elaborate? Im curious enough to possibly try these even though Im somewhat stuck on default being the way to go currently. At the same time Alex Smith is playing like a God and I would really like for that to stop. What type of results are you getting passing and running? Overthrows? Dropped passes?

Re: Smitty's Sliders = Good Results!

Nevermind.

Miami Dolphins (me) 38, Houston Texans 24

Final numbers

Trent Green 23/31 (74%) 449 yds (14.4 ypa) 4 TD 1 INT 142.1 rat.
Matt Schaub 25/34 (73%) 331 yds (9.7 ypa) 1 TD 1 INT 101.5 rat.

Ronnie Brown 12-34 (2.8ypa) 0 TD
Rashard Mendenhall 29-129 (4.4 ypa) 2 TD

I dunno, the first half was great. It was 10-7 Houston at halftime and there was a total of 250 yards passing between the teams. Second half, everything went down hill.

This is driving me nuts. Trent Green, 81 over, throwing to receivers rated 81 and 79.

For the season--- 87/119 (73%), 1,360 yds (11.4 ypa), 12 TDs, 1 INT, 140.7 rat.

I can't deal with this. I can't play supersim, it just takes all the personality out of the game, you can't be creative, it boils it down to all numbers, but the passing is so good it's unplayable.

For the opening game of the season, it was exciting.

For the second game, it was a bit astonishing.

After game three, it was making me say WTF

Game four, and I'm getting discouraged.

Now five games, and I'm calling dives on 3rd and 15 just to get a challenge.

Re: Smitty's Sliders = Good Results!

I hear ya man, the passing game is a complete mess but I havent heard a single developer chime in and say anthing about it yet either. Im stuck simulating now just so I can experience the offseason and see what its like and that might be it for me unfortunatly. Let me know if you come across anything that fixes things for you.
