No...he was saying that his ACTUAL 40 is 4.8 but for some reason the devs saw fit to make him into two Devin Hesters glued together. The problem isn't the low correlation between combine scores generated in the game and actual player ratings - its the vast disparity between rookie and veteran player ratings.

Why is that the only problem? The game allows you to redraft 2008 rookies - considering that essentially all of the fastest among them dwarf the speediest veterans, there's an inherent imbalance in any team that overweights 2008 rookies on its roster.

And it's just plain unrealistic to have 300 pound guys running around like they're Chris Johnson. Realism is kinda important for a simulation.

yeah, since 23 year olds in general are slower than 30 year old and you actually get faster in your mid 20s. These kids are young and fresh. Plus, Gore isn't exactly the fastest back.

Becuz Josh could Easily fix that in a roster update...just address it to him............

I was under the impression that speed, like most stats in the game, is relative for the position. I haven't looked yet, but could these DEs just be fast compared to other DEs?
I'm definitely going to lookat this when I get off work.

There are zero running backs in the NFL that don't run faster than 4.8
