Does the Roster Update effect ratings/players if you start in Offseason?

For instance will Jonathan Stewart be the right heigth/weight if we start in the offseason?

I don't see an option to load the roster when starting a game in the offseason like I do in the preseason...

Nope, unfortunately you are stuck with what is on the disc if you start in the offseason.

I love this game but man that decision sucks... As a Panther fan I would like to have a power back like Stewart available to take but with his size being way off on the shipped rosters I refuse to take him in the draft...

This especially sucks since I seem to need to start a off-season career to avoid the injury bug?

As far as I can discern the injury bug can hit whether you start in the off season or pre season. It's in the actual pre season games where it seems to be getting triggered and it doesn't seem to matter if you play out the games or sim them.

I think this also means that the kicking power is not fixed with the update. I guess I'll have to experience with the sliders in the pre-season.

you can't use the updated roster because of all the transactions. in febuary, farve wasn't on the jets and pennington wasnt on the dolphins

Yeah players that were traded, or signed in the real life in the off season shouldn't be in the fake off season portion, it wouldn't make any sense.
