Players Progression past Potential..

I have my players on a spreadsheet with their ratings. I just notice some of my players are passing their potential. I was looking at my depth chart and saw this.

LG:72/76 is now 79/80
RT: 69/72 is now 74/75

I'm in the middle of a game, but i'll post more when i finish. Anyone else getting the same thing?

Is is from "boosting their ratings: during practice?

Are you in preseason? If it's preseason and those guys were camp invites or rookies, than your scouts are getting a more accurate assessment of their talent levels.

No I just finished my 3rd regular season game.

I had everyone writen down on excel and monitor them during off-season and preseason. Once i started regular season i noted everyone's rating. 3rd game of regular season I notce my line went up.

BTW, HB: R. Rice was 72/90 he went now to 82/87.

Josh, do you know what is causing this? I thought almost most player's potential doesn't really go up or down. I actually fine this great.

HB: J. Jones also went up from 75/76 to 79/78

It would be real cool if this game had a development tracking page, kind of like what is found in other Text sims. Just so you could look year to year of how your player's attributes changed.

Since they don't i made my own on excel to keep track of all my guys. Much easier to control instead of flipping through the game.

Well it seems players can pas their potential, because it's happening in my game. I love it. Atleast you know a 75 rated potential can be a 85 if you train and play him alot.

That is great if that is happening. I hate games that completly lock you into a rating. Good to see it might change.
