JoeMimic's Possible Passing Game Fix.
Okay like I said I had some ideas that came to me while I was at work (Yeah I work hard! ;-)). My thoughts centered about the
coaches special skills. There is a skill you can get for just about every coach that makes the players that report to that coach on gameday perform better. I set out to see if this could be why the 49ers play so well. If you're getting a boost from all of your coaches plus on top of that you've got up to 5 levels of that performance boost with your HC skills combine that with the already strong 49er passing playbook it might just be what is causing the problem. Is it possible that those skills/special skills don't come into play when you straight sim and that's why it produces such good numbers? I can't say that for sure only a developer could. I started out by starting a new coaching career. I made a coach and didn't give him any skills/special skills. I then went through the preseason and didn't gameplan at all. I rested every single chance and simmed the games. First regular season game. I still didn't gameplan at all coming into the game. I didn't boost a single coach skill or stat and my head coach still has 0 skills/special skills. My sliders are all default except for some Special Teams and INTs for both CPU and Human at 65. 3 Games With 0 Skills/0 Special Skills Head Coach With Martz And Original Offensive Coaches. ========================================= 1st Game Vs Cardinals (Calling All Offense/Coach Calling Defense) Halftime Stats - Cards lead at half 20-7 Final Stats - Cards win 30-14 Alex Smith - 5/10 50% 151yards (74 of the yards on a long run and catch TD to Delanie Walker) 1td Final Stats - 15/26 285yards 1td Gore - 11 carries 3 yards 0.2avg 1 fumble. Yuck. Final Stats - 17 carries 16 yards....Cough Vernon Davis has the only drop Final Stats - Team ended up with 3 drops. Justin Smith and M-M-M *DJ Scratch* Manny-Fresh Lawson each with 2 sacks. 4 hurries for the team 2 deflections and 2 FF Final Stats - Smith ends up with 2 sacks 6 TFL. Willis has 8 tacks 4 delections and team had 3 FF Warner - 11/18 61% 207yds 2tds Final Stats - 21/38 55% 313yards 2tds Edge - 8 carries 8 yards Final Stats - 20 carries 56yards 1 td Dansby 7 tackles 5 TFL! Could a developer answer my question about the skills/special skills coming into play when using super sim/simming. Are they active and playing a role in those modes or just regular gameplay mode?
