Stealing Plays Questions

I'm hoping someone can answer this for me as I am too scared to go into the play editor (even away from the clipboard) .

When you steal a play or two from a team in a game, does it automatically go into your playbooks or do you have to go into a play editor or something like that and add it in?

This seems to pop up in the late 4th quarter of 90% of the games I play. Typically I'm offered one offensive play and one defensive play. I believe this may have to do with how often the other team runs a specific play against you maybe matched up with how well you play against that play.

Anyone know any specifics?

it seems to happen when you're playing well. I;ve got offensive and defensive plays

What about when you just supersim games like me? ( i cant stand the frame rate issue when playing a game )
