Wait for patch?

Should I wait for the patch to start a career? I know it's backwards compatible, but what will I be "missing" or having to put up with? I have read the thread and as far as I can see, the biggest complaint will be the players asking for crazy contracts after a reload since the "workarounds" simply are not working for me.

These players don't get signed anyway but I thought I'd get some thoughts as to how long the anticipated wait is, and whether or not you guys are moving along with a career already.

im actually wondering the same thing... i was going to start one after the roster update, but now im not so sure i shouldnt just wait for the patch.

i wanna play though!

naaa...just play and call it 'practice'!

There's so much in this game...if you get 3-5 years into it and then restart with the patch, you STILL will have seen only a fraction of the game.

Is the patch going to address "games started" not being recorded correctly in played games?

I asked this same question a week ago, and I just started my career. You won't be missing anything side from not using play creator. So far I've had no problems, and I'm loving it. I would just start it...from the looks of the posts by Josh, the patch may not be here for awhile. So just get started...the patch works with saved games, so really nothing to lose.
