yah can you get fired in mid season? If you get fired in mid season and you dont get a job what happens? Can you stay jobless?

I'm not sure what kind of interview you're looking for, but there isn't one for example for a GM/Owner hiring a coach where you go through an interview process. The only interviews in the game are interviewing specific players at the combine to unlock more of their stats.

I prefer to start in the off-season myself so that I have more control over the following year.

Also, I haven't seen anyone get fired mid-season, but you can get fired at the end of the year. If this happens you are subject to seeing if any jobs are open. If teams are open, you may get an offer, if not - game over and start over.
