Agree with maxing out performance to five, for your HC and other coaches, make this stat a priority.

If you are delegating your playcalling to your coordinators, pump up their playcalling and strategy abililties. That's critical.

Dan, have you actually received confirmation as to what exactly strategy does?

No direct confirmation myself, but I've taken it to mean that the play call choices will be sharper and more dynamic in the game if playcalling is being done by AI. I don't pay it much mind at all on position coaches....just coordinators.

From experience it does work, I started out play the games calling the plays, as I picked up more talented players I started simming and super simming more, my team sucked simming, but was really good when I called plays.
I started building up the stargagy for my HC since my OC was limited, and my DC plus position coaches. My team became just as good when I simmed.

Yeah, that's what confuses me. Your definition for the strategy skill would have been my definition of the playcalling skill!

I getcha.....but I do think they are really intertwined. If someone has their HC strat guide about, they could probably get a good definition of the 'strategy' out of it and post it here for clarification.

But what about in my situation with the OC/DC calling the plays in game while I am watching the games played out....does the PC and Strategy skill still matter
