Before I buy...some questions

Can you save in the middle of the draft, free agent bidding? I know the draft takes a looooonnnngg time in tis game, which is good, but as a soon to be father of two, my gaming time gets cut short unexpectedly from time to time.

One more question: can you edit #'s and equipment?

Can you edit #'s? Yes. You get a drop down of availible numbers at that position.

Can you edit gear? No.

The draft is broken into Day 1 and Day 2. Day 1 is rounds one and two. Day 2 is rounds three - seven. You get a short break (so you can save) after Day 1.

I've never tried to save in the middle of a game. You can Sim or SuperSim it to the end of the game if you are in a time crunch. That doesn't take more than 3-4 minutes even if you are only in the first quarter...

FA Bidding is timed and can't be saved (as far as I know). Every team goes "on the clock" at the same time and you bid in realtime with the CPU teams. It can last 0-15 minutes based on how many players you want (max of five) and how often the CPU outbids you.

You can save at any time during the draft.

you can edit numbers.
when you're the home team you can pick which uni you want to wear, home/away/or alternate home.
for example, if you're the chiefs you could pick all white (away) white pants, red top (home), or all red (alternate home).

that's it on equipment.

it's a good game, but download the patch before you get started, it fixes a lot of bugs, and if you save a career then try to load the patch later it won't work. I know I've tried. I don't use the patch because I don't want to start over, but I wish I would have known that before I started.
