Highest Draft Pick Used on K/P

I guarentee you that he is always undrafted for me and I can pick him up as an undrafted rookie. And even if you do want to sign him for a multiple year deal, why don't you trade down Into the 6th of 7th round

Highest I've ever picked a K/P in HC09 was a 5th round pick (forget who it was).

Though I did get draft a kicker with the 1st pick of 2nd draft in Madden 06, and in Madden 07, I drafted a kicker with the 31st pick of the 1st round. Both came in with insanely high attributes (the Madden 06 kicker had 95 KPW and 91 KAC, while the Madden 07 kicker had 98 KPW and 95 KAC but only 41 INJ and 59 TGH...)

I can't renember ever using a draft pick on a kicker or punter. There are usually 90+ ovr ones in FA also if you can't get one most of the time the undrafted guys are just as good as the drafted guys. I never saw a kicker or punter with enough good things in the scouting report or whatever they call it to think he was much better than the others. Besides because kickers and punters take a while to devolp, it's easier to just sigh FA
