Help Me Out Bros!

Alright, I bought Madden on the first day it hit the market, and i loved it...until about now. Its just unplayable, there is just too much crap for me to handle in one game, it just has wayyyyyyyyy to many flaws, so i started to think what other games are out there. I thought, well ESPN 2K5 sounds good, and then i remembered the first nfl head coach, and i remembered how much fun that was, i love that game. After that i said maybe i should get that and trade in stupid madden. So what do you guys think? which game is better in your guy's opinion, and I'm talking game play and re-playability here. I see the reviews and they say the games decent, but they said madden was good, and that wasn't very true now was it.

The game is very deep and I think that makes if replayable for me at least. You can find it used for about $10

yes, but would you trade in madden 10 for it? i mean is the gameplay good, are the pursuit angles good, the blocking and d line, hows that stuff?

In all honesty head coach's gameplay is not its strongest point. A lot of the time running backs make stupid decisions, linemen do things they wouldn't do in real life, and you can do nothing about it. That said, I can say without a doubt this game has the beast franchise and off field simulation of any football video game.

If your too impatient for the off season stuff and go right into the games, this one isn't for you.

I don't know if I'd trade Madden 10 in for it, but then again I really like Madden 10. It's gameplay is very deep, and it's very addictive. For only $10 or $20, you can't go wrong.

Overall this game is still king in my opinion, but gameplay-wise Madden 10 is much better, other than the flats and the cpu qb throwing ducks instead of taking sacks I really don't see much to complain about this year. If you havent played 2k5 then try to get that. In my opinion the best football game ever on the field is All-Pro Football 2k8 or 2k5 if you need the NFL rosters, but the franchise/season modes in those absolutely suck. Head Coach 09 has the best franchise mode in the history of sports gaming but on the field its not very good. Maddens franchise is actually somewhat playable this year and after both patches are released it should be even better.
