Converting players?

Ok so now I know this is perhaphs a really easy question, but I am uncertain. How do you convert a player from like a CB to a safety. Do you just put him in that slot on the depth chart or is there some other process. Thanks

Go to roster and then select the player you want to convert. Then go to edit player and you can change his position and number. I think QBs can go to WRs, HBs to FBs to TEs, O-line can go anywhere on the o-line, DTs can go to DEs, DEs can go to OLBs, OLBs can go to MLBs, Secondary can go anywhere in the secondary.

FYI: some very-late-round or UDFA safeties in the English path have the skills to be starting (Balanced OVR 80+) man-press-style CBs.

There was a quarterback compared to Issac Bruce in the 2011 or 2012 draft class on the English path. I got him up to a 94 potential by switching him to receiver.
