Re: Redskins Career

Week 1 Arizona
We beat Arizona 35-10. Our offense looked great and we really beat up on them in all facets of the game.

Cut Day
Markief Griffin was cut. He lost out in the battle for the backup SS spot.

Brad Smith was cut. Both rookie QBs looked good enough to backup Campbell.

Raymond Dean was cut. He does not have what it takes to ever be more than a #5 corner. Hopefully Carlos Tate will have more upside.

Scott Paxon was cut. He is not anything special as a DT. The younger guys are looking very good.

Jake Davis was also cut and Demetrius Bell was signed in his place. Bell is a high upside offensive lineman but is clearly a project.

Sam Adams was cut so we could sign rookie Travian Davis.

Re: Redskins Career

Week 2, Dallas Cowboys
Washington wins 24-20. Jason Campbell was terrible but Cole Roberts had a great second half and we pulled out the win.

Cut Day
This was a big one as we had to cut down to 60 players.

Mack Carson was cut. Hall will be the 3rd MLB.

Jon Jansen was cut. He is too old and fragile to be a solid contributor.

Mike Wahle was cut and Demetrius Bell was moved to center.

Naji Givens was moved to the backup TE spot and Fred Davis was cut. Naji will be a good underneath receiver and a great blocking TE.

Lemarcus Martin was cut as well. He was a longshot to make it and fell short.

Re: Redskins Career

Week 3, Cleveland Browns
We won 38-35. Once again Roberts had to bail us out after a bad performance by Jason Campbell. I will be starting Roberts next game to see what he can do against the opponents 1st string.

Josh Sitton was traded to Baltimore for a 2011 3rd and a 2012 7th. Sitton was a solid player but with Spence playing so well Destin Simon was moved to RG leaving Sitton as a backup. A 3rd round pick for a backup guard is a trade I will take any day.

Cut Day
After trading Sitton we only needed to cut 2 players.

Brandon Williams was cut. He has no upside where Sidney Donaldson has decent athleticism but no speed.

Steven Young was cut. We had too many TEs and needed to cut one.

Re: Redskins Career

Week 4 Oakland Raiders
Cole Roberts excelled as the starter. We won 34-7 and he threw 3 TDs in 3 possessions before I brought him out.

Jason Campbell was traded to Carolina for a 2nd round pick. While Campbell is a decent QB and did win a superbowl for us last year most of the games it seemed like we won in spite of him and not because of him.

Cut Day
Jordan Parker and Ike Augustus were cut. Suisham will hold onto the kicker job.

Clay Williams was cut. He has great hands but is limited as a runner. It was either him or hart and hart has some garunteed money.

Demarquis Owens was cut to make room for Emeka Mourning. Mourning has solid upside and even though we have a lot of pass rush talent he will help out.

Travis Grant was cut to make room to sign Rex Grossman as a 3rd qb.

Re: Redskins Career

Week 1, Detroit Lions
During the week
Here we had our 1st draft update. This class looks strong at the WR spot and also at CB and DT. Other than that the class is pretty weak.

Preview
Detroit is a tough team. They have a solid core to their defense up front and a very good pair of receivers and a pair of running backs.

Injuries
We are completely healthy. They are missing a backup LT and a backup LE.

Keys to the game
Our corners against their receivers. Their wideouts are the key to their offensive success. We have a pair of shutdown corners who will try to keep them in check.

We have to pressure Pennington. Chad is a veteran QB who is very accurate getting the ball out on short passes. If we can pressure him though and take that away he does not have the arm to burn us deep.

Buckingham has to start defending his rushing title. He has to watch his back as Norwood is coming up behind him quickly and is a more explosive player.

Washington wins 31-21
Cole Roberts was great in his 1st game. With his performance we were able to limit Buckingham to just 20 carries but gained 72 yards and a td with them. The reduced wear and tear would really help if we can keep this up.

Terrell Suggs burst onto the scene in Washington with 3 sacks in his 1st performance. Renaldo Moon had 2 interceptions and 1 TD.
