Gameplan Question

During the game, does choosing a Gameplan make the plays practiced more convenient to find/cal or does it also improve the execution of the play.

Do you get better results if you use the gameplan to call the play instead of just calling it normally.

Re: Gameplan Question

In theory, yes it improves the execution of the play. You should see an additional "bar" in the pre-snap comparison at the bottom of your screen, indicating the degree of enhancement.

Re: Gameplan Question

I've noticed that choosing the "execute gameplan" option sometimes -lowers- my overall rating for that play, by a lot too! it seems like the game is adding it to the cumulative total -and- adding an extra number to the divisor (so it's coach + knowledge + gameplan / 3) instead of simply adding the bonus to the final cumulative total rating (which would be coach + knowledge / 2, + gameplan bonus) which is what one would expect.

maybe it's a display error, but until shown evidence otherwise, I won't call gameplan bonuses anymore.

Re: Gameplan Question

What platform are you playing on?

I play on PS3 and haven't seen that. I get different errors. Usually the Gameplan bar doesn't appear at all. Maybe 5 to 10% of the time it does appear as a separate, fourth bar, fully colored in. Once, it appeared as a separate bar with only a sliver filled colored in.

I don't have enough data to tell if it is actually helping as it apparently should.

Re: Gameplan Question

I'm also on PS3 and have never seen a Gameplan Bar. One thing I did notice-the plays in a gameplan really do build up play knowledge of plays in the gameplan. I had a play that was borderline unlearned/learned. I put the play in the gameplan, and it was instantly mastered.

Re: Gameplan Question

I play on ps3. I see the gameplan bar as a 4th bar, it's almost always only a sliver. I've occasionally seen it more than that, but usually just like 5% of the bar is filled.
