Best types of plays

What are the best types of passing and running plays? The ones that are most effective and work most of the time. I know the qb likes to throw to the hash marks alot

Re: Best types of plays

I've found outside runs are good, not pitches because they are a little slow to develop, almost like the RB pauses for a second whilst waiting for the pitch.

My only issue with outside runs are that often the RB will juke. Usually this just means they can't turn the corner on the edge and might get 0-2 yards, but on the occasions where they don't juke or manage to take the corner then you're looking at 8-10+ yards every carry.

Passing wise I prefer short routes but not sure what the best plays are.

I agree. I like inside runs with a leader blocker as long as you have a high trucking, low agility and elusiveness rb. Less jukes more forward. And I love west coast style passing in his game. Too bad every quick slant I call the OC is screaming let's look deep on this one. It's like you know it's a 3 step drop and quick cut right? Lol
