Re: Head Coach '09 - still amazing

Thanks, I'm really leaning that way myself. Just working through a few storylines. Ditka's recent health scare has me thinking I need to get it done too. We'll see soon!

Re: Head Coach '09 - still amazing

So - here we go! Picked up a new (refurbished) X360 and I'm gonna get started. I decided to start up my Mike Ditka/Bears franchise. Now, he's already 68 when HC09 starts, and the oldest HC in history was 72 (there were 2) Not sure I'm gonna have him coach 15 years and be 83! LOL! But, who knows? Guys like Connie Mack (88) Paterno and Gagliardi (84), Bobby Bowden (80), and a few others made it a LONG time and had success.

So, I'll start a new thread with my new franchise, and hopefully:
  • My new X360 holds up
  • I can resist the urge to start 5 more at the same time
  • Ya'll enjoy it
  • I enjoy it

I jut took up the game once more. Love it. Unfortunately I lost my XBox, game and guide when Harvey dinked 6 feet of water where live. So I have none of the last bug fixes anymore. Oh well it’s still the best sports game ever made!

I keep coming back myself. This is truly an amazing designed game for us armchair coaches.

This game is really underrated and never got the credit it deserved, I think. Such a deep experience.
