Ultimate choke in the Super Bowl >>>>>>>> choke in the playoffs. Besides, it doesn't change the fact that they still got their ring. I wouldn't even consider the Giants loss a choke, stop being bitter.

I am not bitter anymore....I am giddy now. But if Pittsburgh wins the Super Bowl, I will return to a bitter state.

And quite a few people on the Patriots team that lost last year have their rings, as well. Some have two, a few select ones have three. Really don't see how that has to do with anything.

Doesn't change the fact that the Giants won't be getting another ring. Just like it doesn't change the fact that the Patriots choked in the SB last year.

LOL. Eli will have more rings than his big brother when his career is finished.

...we're talking about this season, are we not? In that case - no, he won't be getting another ring.

Here's a question, as a Lakers fan who lost to the C's last season and who has a natural rivalry with the C's, would you not be happy/celebrate if and when the C's were eliminated from the post-season this year, because they won't be able to win another championship?

I'd be lying if I said that I wouldn't be happy, but I also wouldn't be calling it a choke depending on the team. Giants loss to the Eagles was anything but a choke. Thats where my bitter comment was aimed towards.

Ah, alright. That I agree with - there's no need to call the Giants losing a "choke" because, honestly, I just didn't think they were that good this season. Their record shows otherwise, but they were a different team without a healthy, sane Plax out there to catch passes. So no, them losing to a tough and familiar Eagles team is not a chok.

To be fair, though, with all the **** Pats fans on this board (especially) put up with, I think we deserve one or two comments against another team a year.
