I wonder if Denver could be conned into taking Tommie Harris in a trade? I'm sure some people think he's great. Throw in a couple of #1's. Deal!

How you figure? Them taking Tommie Harris' contract off our hands would be a HUGE win.

(2) 1sts for a QB with out draft history would be a steal. I'd drive Tommie to the airport.

Not 2 firsts. Besides, the Broncos made it perfectly clear they want a QB in return.

If the Bears get him, they will probably have to go through a 3-way with Cleveland.

They can have Orton and Harris then. They need defense, we just need to sell him as their Dline savior.

McDaniels wouldn't take Orton as his QB. Trust me.

They want Brady Quinn, so we will have to hook up the Browns.

Fine with me. But I'll still throw in Harris.

Interesting idea there about trading Tommie Harris to Denver as part of a package for Jay Cutler. However, the Broncos plan to run a 3-4 defense this upcoming season and I don't think Tommie Harris' size and skill set would fit for that team. He's best utilized as a penetrating 1-gap, 3-technique tackle as opposed to being primarily a stout 5-tech, run-stuffing end. Playing as a 3-4 DE would be handicapping his talents.
