While true to a certain extent, this is totally in the individual's hands. I myself wouldn't do that and neither would you. To me , it just takes the fun away from the game Nothing like a good spanking to bring you down back to earth once in a while

For sure, don't get me wrong, I'm not at all trying to knock that 2k has that as a feature for the handful of guys that are crazy anal about 100% accurate rosters or whatever but putting that one feature on such a high pedestal that its some form of gamebreaker if its not included is imo pretty ridiculous.

Wow what great news and hopefully 2k will be better then ever with tons of options like players with correct faces with the right color hair but ESPECIALLY a basic function like Roster share so the Hockey community can share their work with other hockey fans.
Im so excited I may pick up NHL 2k10 did that have roster share guys ?

That is awesome news. I refuse to give EA any money for a game that still hasn't caught up to 2k in my opinion, bumper car hockey is just not my thing. After seeing the great leaps Visual Concepts made with MLB2K 10 and the upcoming NBA 2K11, there is no doubt in my mind that it will be a game worth buying.

2k's roster updates contained many of their own issues...players with wrong handedness, race, etc. so they were far from perfect. And assuming 2k12 does see the light of day (which is unlikely...Feder's comments weren't in the article weren't recent), it still might have the CAP limitations that prior versions had (only able to create 20-30 players).

Just don't want you to hurt yourself on the back flip.

To late I already hurt myself but Im very realistic and if NHL 2k came back after a year Im hoping it would be all new visually player wise with its old great gameplay .

Just out of curiosity have you even played NHL11 with slider adjustments? Or are you just sticking to your the publisher name on the box dictates my purchasing habits routine?

Well, it would be kinda hard to play NHL 11 with slider adjustments without buying it (other than maybe renting it on Gamefly - good luck with that too). So, I'm guessing it's the latter. C'mon, it's Eddie.........

As for me, I wish I could play the full version without paying for it because the demo did not incite me to buy it all. It still seemed the same ol' NHL 08, 09, 10 with a few new features. Nothing that made me say "a must buy" since 08 and 09 were disappointing to me. I'm sure there's much more to the game than the demo. But, with money so tight for me these days, a game has to be an absolute must for me to open up my pocketbook.

So far, sounds like it's been a great game for those who have gotten it and it has grabbed the interest of many non-hockey gaming fans. That's good news for hockey gaming.
