Disappointments of this year.

I guess Too Human. I thought for sure I'd be buying it, but hated the demo.

Snore.. I mean Spore. I still can't believe how bad it was. Mercenaries 2 was a pretty big letdown, and obviously Madden.

Not to be smart but I think you're expecting too much out of too many games. I look at disappointments being games that are supposed to be "All that" and fail.

I see where you're coming from. But each of the games I listed I was interested in at some point, and upon playing them, was disappointed. I would agree that this is more about my personal disappointments this gaming year than what most overall would consider true disappointments.

For example I didn't list games like Jumper: Griffin's Story, Iron Man, the NHL games, etc. because while being critical failures/successes I never cared about them in the first place.

For me I have to say Mercenaries 2. That was one dry game. And also NBA 2k9. Not so much the gameplay, but the fact that they haven't put a patch up after all this time. I haven't even purchased the game yet because I'm waiting for you guys to give me the all clear on the patch.

I will continue the trend with Madden -
then Merc 2, MLB2k8, NBA2k9(until they patch it hopefully), Star WarsTHFU....
