Based solely on what I've read, RDR was such a hornet's nest of code that it would be easier to pick up every grain of sand from a SoCal beach than to produce a current-gen remaster.

I didn't even know there was a fast travel option. It never occurred to me to try.

Red Dead Redemption, from the time I saw that first trailer for X360 (not the original original Red Dead Revolver) and the Rockstar games logo, was the most anticipated game I can ever remember. The original trailer to that game was so, so good. And you knew it was gonna be quality because it was Rockstar.

RDR was the game I was basically waiting my whole life for. Spaghetti western comes to video games, made to AAA standards. I'm definitely looking forward to RDR2, but nothing can top my excitement for the original. It was turned up to "11". There's nothing higher.

It definitely needs one, but seems like I've heard these rumors for years. So I'll believe it when I see it. I don't think rockstar has any interest in anything other than online stuff

I won't get my hopes up too high but this would be amazing if it came to fruition. I just dived back into RDR2 after undergoing knee surgery and it's still such an amazing experience.

I'd welcome that with open arms but I'm also going to say that I actually really had a good time with the GTA remasters, even with their flaws (and especially after patches).

Re: Red Dead Redemption

If this ends up happening. I'll be happy for PC players assuming it finally gets a PC port for the first time. PC players have been waiting the longest even trying to get it on emulators.

I'm just excited. I remember reading a year ago or so saying that potential RDR1 and GTA IV remasters were scrapped after the trilogy wasn't received well. Now that they're finally happening is a good sign.
