At least they put other bands in this. Still only a rent.
I don't know what they mean by 3 solos. All I can really think is they put Eruption before Hot for Teacher. After that what else is there?
I am a huge VH fan so I'll cave on this one............but I dislike that there are only 25 VH songs. I am ok with the lineup that they are going with, but with Roth they had a lot more than 25 songs. I guess Metallica was 28 songs.......but still.

I think we should all learn a lesson from Guitar Hero franchise, if you wait about 3-4 months after release you can pick up the game for less than half the price on ebay. This is what I am doing with Smash Hits, just waiting it out.

I really don't think Pearl Jam and Green Day are going to be standalone games.

And I for one dislike having other bands in the game that don't relate at all to the band on the box. If I'm going to buy a game focused on one band, I don't want to play through other bands' songs. I like the fact that the Beatles game is at least only going to have their songs, and over 40 of them plus DLC.

Exactly. If I get Smash Hits or GH5 that's how I'm going to do it.

25 DLR era songs will come out to about 1 hour of playing time.

I'll add this to the same list I have GH:Metallica on: Wait until it drops to $20. I waited until GH:Aerosmith dropped to $10 before getting that one.

I doubt Humans Being and Right Now since they are both Sammy Hagar VH songs and Yankee Rose and California Girls are Roth solo songs which may not make it on there either.

Re: Guitar Hero: Runnin' with the Devil

Come to Life is a good song. I'm glad they didn't just stick with Metalingus as that seemed to be the assumed song to be on a game and it wasn't the one I was hoping for.

In fact, this isn't a bad song list at all.
