I think he was saying for those that can't afford the preorder right now? Since gamestop will let you put down $5, you could play the beta and then get a refund and buy it when you can truly afford it. I guess if people are hurting for cash between now and September and maybe October-December would be better?

That I don't know. I was thinking more in general, why didn't people just preorder to make sure they get a code instead of hoping someone gives them one.

The easiest way is to preorder from Amazon since they don't charge you until it ships.

I just did this and got a beta code on PS4. For those that still haven't pre-ordered, I would go with Amazon as they still have codes

Don't forget you have to go to Bungie site, register and enter your code from Amazon there so you get an email from Bungie with the beta download code today.

Exactly,I was stating to cancel it for the people who can't afford the game right now. This way they get to determine if they want the game down the road when they can afford it.
