Took me a few games to remember the side-to-side shooting technique. I've always been more of a fan of the team games (demo,escort,breach,etc..) and not the suppression mode though, right now it's basically everyone for themselves which is not Socom for me.

Hit detection still needs work but the range is good on the guns, with long range fights being a highlight.

Looks like they got a patch today, going to get some more in tonight.
Thats great to hear. Have you played with a controller or as of now is it mouse and keyboard?

And if so are you at a distinct disadvantage with one? I saw they had hackers already which is ashame

From the quick update SOF studio does for the game. SoF stated they will be doing updates as they progress with animations etc. I think he said they have 500 animations to go, sooo expect a lot of updates I guess and a completely different looking game .

Feel like I win most of my 1x1 battles (maybe 60% or so) but I don't know if they are using a KB/M or controller. I'm personally using a controller and don't have issues. The sensitivity is set a little high for me but they have a config set-up where you can change it.

I've had the socom rush on a few occasions, especially when you kill 2 or 3 in a row or you're the last one on the team against a couple.

Oh man im pumped for this game too. Socom before the last one was my favorite online shooter. Desert glory baby!

When they added all the call of duty perks and crap the game became garbage. I really miss that realistic shooter. Nothing has ever came close to Socom 1-3

Still needs work but I will say that they do a great job listening to the community and updating the game based on feedback. Seem to have pleasing the socom community at a priority.
