Looks pretty sweet. Kind of reminds me of Shadow of Mordor but multiplayer with humans instead of orcs.

Looks cool, but I wish all these companies would stop ruining their beautiful games by cluttering the hell out of the screen with really obnoxious HUD elements and notification items. The game would feel so much better without any of that.

At first it reminded me of bushido blade, but it seems much more simplistic than that in terms of combat moves instead going for more volume in terms of total number of fights - like it's a cross between a 'simulation' and a beat 'em up.

I'll keep my eye on it, but man what a shame for all that HUD mess.

I agree. I think some things like the r-stick defenses will have to be there but all the outlines and icons need to have a toggle on/off. Ubisoft loves that stuff. Game looks very cool though.

For years and years and years I have been waiting for a game like this. I am super-psyched. With how stale today's gaming genres are, FPS, third person, modern combat, they all replicate each other and do the same things. And the ones that don't, are all now Batman clones. Some of these games are good, heck, some of them are GREAT, but it's still feeling like I'm playing the same things over and over again.

Enter For Honor. A medieval combat simulator, that puts the moves in your hand. They managed to make sword/melee fighting competitive, instead of button mashing like God of War. This game could be hugely groundbreaking in a number of ways.

For multi player, I think it could be a total blast. Getting into one on one showdowns with people. Here is hoping that everything is responsive, fluid, and smooth with the gameplay mechanics because right now, they look excellent to me. And I simply LOVE going to the medieval era for a game that isn't an RPG or fantasy based adventure. Just battles, and B.A. stuff so you can feel like the baddest man on the planet.

BTW, it has since been confirmed that there will be a single player offline campaign. Also, the game is not free to play. Also the characters will be named characters, with specific traits/characteristics and so on, so anybody you're fighting with will play a little different than each other.

This is all really awesome stuff. I feel like every game I actually want to play is a million years away from being released though.

Ubisoft announced that For Honor will release on February 14th, 2017. Alpha sign up started
