I was excited about this game but the more I watch videos of it the least interested I am. Also it's multiplayer focused and that turns me off big time. I was expecting a good campaign when I heard about this game. I am 97% not buying this.

Have you played the alpha or beta? I was worried about the same things at first. MP focused and repetitive. But the online stuff was great imo and I rarely play online. The 4v4 felt epic. I can't say I know how this will hold up over time but I really enjoyed the alpha and you should give it a shot before deciding.

very cool art completely ruined by all the HUD crap and I stress the word CRAP. Love vikings, Samurai and so on...but it's stuck in a game I don't want to play.

Also the fighting could be more violent with axes actually sticking to torso's and so on. Glorified beat-em up.

This game is literally covered with microtransactions. It's still super slow and very stiff. Bored within a few minutes.

The PS4 beta has had issues today. I just tried to play but couldn't be a 4v4 match going. The alpha was good so I hope the beta bounces back and has more activity.

Ubi has had a lot of server issues the last two days according to their twitter. Steep hasn't even been playable.

Just another reason why forcing us to play online has me out too. Videos of the gameplay didn't look good to me either IMO.

I am on PS4 and was able to play for a few hours.

This is going to sound stupid and contradictory but here goes. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed playing. That being said, I am not sure this one is for me. It is just too tied to online and seems to be a little lacking in the depth department. I don't play a lot of online only games, MMO type of things.

I would probably be more inclined if this was releasing in the fall. But I am really interested in Horizon Zero Dawn and The Show releases soon and once that happens I really don't play any thing else for the summer.

So while I am enjoying the beta, I don't think I will be getting this one on launch.

There are a lot of combos aside from the simple r1 r2 light and heavy attacks. You can really tell when someone is more skilled and knowledgeable. I had a great time in the alpha and am having fun here too. Definitely a buy for me.
