Spider Man combat definitely looks like Batman Arkham but with more verticality.

Yep and I love the Arkham games. Knight, City, origins are all in my top 10 games of all time and asylum like top 30 but the combat doesn't look or fell like that to me in this game. I do agree though that the combat in the Arkham games is great.

Yeah the combat looks just like Arkham. I had to remind myself that Rocksteady wasn't making it. No problems with me since I love the Arkham games.

Same for me, yeah it looks a bit similar to Arkham and I love it because thats a great combat system!!

Apparently this is a Spider-Man that's been around a few years. Sources are saying Peter Parker is 23 in this game.

I think the biggest thing about what is gonna make this game great is it actually feels like New York City. The buildings are bigger and closer together, you look like a normal sized person. In the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game, it just doesn't *feel* like NYC. It feels like they built a generic big city, and sprinkled the occasional NY landmark in.

The camera angle probably helps some of that, since this game is middle of the screen kinda pulled back. ASM2 the camera was right behind the player, looking over their shoulder.

IDK, the traffic, the people walking around, the construction, the billboards and watertowers on roofs.

I hate to keep using the word, but the feel of it is bigger and more authentic.

I hope it is possible to change back to Peter Parker and just walk around and observe the city. This is something I love doing in open-world games. I hope it's possible to do it here.

I'm sure it will be. No idea if they'd do open world, but there's bound to be missions where you play as Peter. There has been in every Spider-Man game.
