Re: Battlefield V

Sad that it wasn't Bad Company, but I really enjoyed 1942 and the Xbox Live Arcade game on the 360.

Re: Battlefield V

I am very excited for BFV. I really can't wait actually. WWII? Hell freaking yes.

BF1 is amazing. And it has been a long time (2009) since we had a WWII Battlefield.

I am stoked.

Really hopeful this one is great. I've LOVED BF3 & BF4, but BF1 just didn't grab me and I'd go as far to say it wasn't a great game. At least for Battlefield standards.

And yet according to the article in the op.

"Battlefield I is a huge success for EA.*It sold faster than Battlefield 4, and*it has surpassed 25 million players*as of December. Fans were excited to return to a historical setting after years of modern military shooters"

I'd say for BF standards it did its job exceptionally well.

Re: Battlefield V

BF1 doesn't have the lasting gameplay that BF4 did.

I put TONS if hours into BF4...I played BF1 a month before deciding I just wasn't enjoying the game.

Perhaps that's me though.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Re: Battlefield V

I really like the WWII setting but wasn't too impressed with COD WWII. It was ok but I prefer Battlefield anyway so I'm happy about this.

I still play BF1 but I'm really really bad at it. And yeah, I think BF4 was better for me.

A Vietnam game would have been cool as well. But I'm excited to see a BF's take on WWII.

Yea, your last line summed that up pretty much.

But I get what you're saying. For the time, I also enjoyed BF4 a ton at that time. But it's dated for me now. BF1 is an amazing game to look at. Visuals and sounds in BF1 are top notch.

I had over 1100 hrs in BF4. Don't think I'm going to pass that in BF1. But I still play BF1 a lot now.

Re: Battlefield V

I'm disappointed that they aren't going back to a modern setting for Battlefield V but it's not a deal breaker for me. What is a deal breaker for me is if it has the same customization that BF1 had (which was very little).
