Now granted, the actual gameplay could be drastically different. We'll find out, as well as should find out a release date in an hour and a half during Bethesda's press conference, but so far, I'm damn excited for this game after seeing the premiere trailer during Microsoft's conference.


There's still concerns when it comes to the whole unknown aspects of multiplayer and online and stuff, but that trailer was pretty sweet so far. It's going to take some drastically bad looking stuff in future gameplay trailers for me to not get this.

“Cautiously optimistic” is my feeling, right now. Definitely have to wait on the official Bethesda presentation, but that certainly LOOKED like the Fallout series we all know and love. 4 times bigger than Fallout 4? Are they referring to the map? If so, that will be HUGE!

Yeah, that shocked me when they said 4 times bigger than Fallout 4. I'm assuming it's the map they're talking about since usually most games are comparing map size when they say they're however much bigger than their previous game or other games.


And agreed, that looked exactly like the Fallout series I know and love. That looked amazing. But granted, that's nothing more than a premiere trailer, not a gameplay trailer. We should know more in one hour.

Did we get a release date? Fallout is a must for me, no matter what, and I want to play Fallout 4 again before this drops.

Really hoping it has a story and is the same quality as previous installments, but with the ability to join friends in each others' worlds. The setting has me so excited for this game that if it turns out to be something else it'll be one of the bigger let downs I've had in recent gaming.

Did we get a release date? Fallout is a must for me, no matter what, and I want to play Fallout 4 again before this drops.

Nothing yet, but I will be absolutely shocked if Bethesda doesn't announce the release date during their press conference that starts here in 30 minutes. I've seen leak images supposedly showing a release date of July 31st, 2018.

Here's the image that has been floating around for a week or so. It's also the exact same date Amazon accidentally had listed at first before changing it to a generic December 31st, 2019 release date. So I will not be the least bit surprised if they announce it for release in a month and a half.

Also would be smart on their part, get some separation from the loaded release schedule in October and November, which can do nothing but help sales since they won't be directly competing with Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty, Battlefield V and others.

Yep! No granted, there's a much more realistic possibility that it won't be released until November 2018, much like how Fallout 4 played out, announced at E3 in June 2015 and released November 10, 2015. But it wouldn't be the first time Bethesda has released a game shortly after announcing it.

If I had to guess, I'm putting my money on either July 31st, November 6th or November 13th, 2018 for the release date for Fallout 76.
