Despite not give two craps about the original FF7, I was more than willing to buy FF7R in March but Square Enix confirming that they don't know how many episodes it will take to complete the game as well as it being $60 a pop completely turned me off. Hell, the money is important but less of a factor than waiting who knows how long to get the complete game. Knowing Square Enix, by the time they finish the entire game, PlayStation 7 will be released which would fit perfectly since it's, you know, Final Fantasy 7. LOL.

It is. The first game is only midgard and its 2 blue ray disks.

I got a feeling that there will only be one more part and they are waiting until next gen to release it due too limitations of current gen.

Especially the open world and how massive ff7 is.
