Not a SW fan in general, but looking to get more use out of the TM 16000 HOTAS I bought for MSFS. Looking forward to giving this game a run on PC.

Re: Star Wars Squadrons

NO DLC

Quote:
Ian Frazier, creative director for “Star Wars: Squadrons,” told UploadVR that they are not trying to treat the game like a live service.

“We don’t want to say, ‘It’s almost done!’ and then dribble out more of it over time, which to be honest is how most games work these days,” Frazier said.

“So, we’ve tried to treat it in kind of an old-school approach saying, ‘You’ve paid the $40, this is the game and it’s entirely self-contained. We’re not planning to add more content, this is the game, and we hope you understand the value proposition,’” he added.

I for one welcome the return to old school way of game development. For far too long, companies relied HEAVY on DLC to finish a game. So by the time you bought all the DLC, you paid out $200 or more for the game. I hope other studios go back to the old school way and stop relying on the DLC.

Re: Star Wars Squadrons

The game is really good.

That said, would be great to add some planes and maybe a few different aux add ons are whatever.

Re: Star Wars Squadrons

Haven't been able to play again but looking forward to coming back. Just more surprised that EA delivered free content than anything else right now.
