Not surprising at all. They released DLC (a new game mode) in the fifth year of Dying Light, and the have still been running in-game events for it.

I appreciate what Techland is doing with the Dying Light series.

This is why I pre-ordered the digital ultimate edition for Xbox Series X. Base game, two expansions and five years of post launch content, free and paid. Let's go baby!!!

Several YouTubers are currently playing a review code build of Dying Light 2 and have been permitted to showcase a side quest. Will post each one that I can find. As far as I know, it's several different YouTubers. Obviously these videos CONTAIN SPOILERS for the respective side quest as well as the skill trees and world map so watch at your own discretion. Will post the YouTuber and their respective video underneath. Each side quest runs for about 45-60 minutes. Any additional time like in OniZombies video is answering questions in the live chat as it was live streamed.

Gonna quote this again and add that Techland has released a limited time event in the original Dying Light today: https://www.pcgamesn.com/dying-light...ted-time-event

This is year seven of the game, with Dying Light 2 due it in less than two weeks.

Does anyone here still play the original Dying Light? I completed it back in 2016 with the Enhanced Edition but the game save file is long gone. Is it possible to do this special event right after starting the game or do I need to complete the base game's story and The Following expansion? Thanks.
