The long-running CBL has several rare openings as we enter the 2034 off-season.
Colorado Gold Sox - Coming off a 73-89 season, the Gold Sox have a standout 27-year-old shortstop in Peter Parker to build around. He hit .277/.333/.543 with 30 home runs. The organization has the best prospect pool among the teams available, with several top hitting prospects. Like the other teams listed below, the Gold Sox need pitching.
1B prospect Joe Castle was the #2 overall pick a few years ago and he made his debut this season. He seems poised to be a breakout star next season.
St. Louis Sultans - Another rebuilding project, the Sultans went 60-102 last season and are badly in need of some pitching.
27-year-old 1B Jose Garcia is the team's best player, coming off a .298/.328/.521 year with 33 home runs. He's locked up for 2 more seasons. The team's top prospect is also a 1B, 20-year-old Manny Soto, who might be the league's best hitting prospect.
Golden State Admirals - Easily the best team available, the Admirals went 95-67 last season. A new job forced the teams GM to step down, but the organization still looks set to contend again next season.
The minor league system could use some work, but I would assume your current scout likes the system more than OSA. If you don't want to have to rebuild immediately, this is your team. CF Richard Head hit .359 and is a star.
