Voted for the Show.
Until the Show started to hit it's stride, the NCAA football series was my all-time fave. Now the Show blows NCAA completely away, which is fine with me as I've always enjoyed baseball more than football.

This past year was a good year for sports releases. I think all games delivered in some fashion.

I chose The ShOW 13. that game was just that good.
Honorable mentions go to NBA2k14 and NCAA 14.

NCAA14 In My opinion is the second best football game released on CG, right behind APF2k8.

The NBA 2k series delivers as usual, never a let down.

I chose NCAA Football 14 partially out of sentimentality, partially out of improvement. This series has frustrated me greatly in the past for not reaching its potential. NCAA 14 seemed to be as good as it would get for this gen. It is still flawed (special teams play & awful renderings on the sidelines being the worst examples). The option game seemed finally fixed.


I've always preferred college football to the NFL. This version seemed closest to the spirit of the sport. I don't fault those who filed the lawsuit that resulted in the end of the series. NCAA Football was always a Day One purchase for me, good or bad. I will miss it once July rolls around but will probably attempt to edit rosters for next season.
