Freezing rain combined with high winds is crazy. Its raining sideways with ice blowing at 70+km(45+mph). Talk about dangerous. The weather is a weapon itself right now.

Just listening to the ice hitting agInst the windows, its like someone is constantly throwing handfuls of pebbles at it. And thats with almost soundproof windows!

I empathize lol, I have a sliding glass door about 4 feet from the computer and it sounded like someone was shooting BBs at it. Dog wasn't too happy either

3 to 4 inches of wet heavy snow, 60 mph wind gusts, about 22 degrees. It snowed for hours last night, then sleeted for about 5 hours on top of it.

Snowing. 24 degrees. Thursday will have a high of 12 with a low of -4.

Not sure what to make of weather reports or weather apps anymore. The news said Saginaw got 9" of lake effect snow today. I'm in Saginaw, we didn't get anything, like literally nothing, maybe a SLIGHT dusting so idunno where this 9" report is coming from, some phantom isolated burst?

Also I have my weather sensor outside and it's telling me the outside temp is 15°, but the weather app on my desktop is telling me it's -4°, why such discrepancies?

Lake effect snow is weird. It can snow a foot in one place and a mile down the road could get nothing.
