I can't even fathom something that massive.

Looks like the Charlotte area got some damage overnight from a couple possible tornadoes.

I posted something in the "How's the weather..." thread about this but there was a lot of damage to areas in southern Boone, Kenton, and Campbell Counties all about 20-30 miles south of where I live. I feel very fortunate nothing happened this far north. I didn't know about West Liberty and areas near Lexington though. Really sad to hear about all of the devastation on the edge of the tri-state area and beyond.

Re: Tornado Season 2012

I've been in Menifee County (Hometown) all morning assisting with search and rescue and cleanup efforts. The amount of sheer devastation shown on tv doesn't in any way show the magnitude seeing it first hand. It's absolutely tragic.

Hopefully that video will work. Click on the link. Absolutely amazing footage of the beginning. Woman praying, speaking in tongues, but the absolute size that you can see forming is astounding.

Re: Tornado Season 2012

Did someone say Tornadoes on OS? I must be dreaming!

But seriously, if you guys didn't know the other half of what I do is actually chase them -- yeah I know, I know. A short plug, check us out on Twitter or on Facebook

And you can check out MY stuff either on YouTube or on Blip.tv

On and finally, March 2nd was a completely horrible day. Been hearing so many crazy stories from people from that day, truly insane. Looks to be the biggest outbreak in March history at this point
