Crashed hard today. The Medical Examiner called needing the name of our old family Doctor who had retired to get her medical records. She also informed me that it could be up to 6 months before we had all of the answers about what happened.

My anxiety has taken off today, just feel lost and that everything is crashing down again. Have really bad heartburn on top of it. So just trying to keep myself occupied. Went out for coffee with an old from from Church and that helped but now it is all quiet and that is the hard times. Its cold and rainy so I don't feel like walking.

Anyway thanks for listening, you guys are great!

Have some hot tea and settle down with a movie that's just yours....and not a sad film. Relax and let the waves subside for today, as best as you are able to.

Thanks Dan. That is exactly what I am trying to do. Just talking to the ME brought it all up again. I am sitting on the couch with my dogs all snuggled up and just trying to be calm. Not knowing what happened is just the worst and hearing that it could be 6 months more just crushed me.

Yeah, and sad to say there are likely more days like this ahead here and there over the next six months. But each minute of each day, you're gaining some strength and that'll help you counter the setbacks better each time.

Keep on doing the stuff you're doing. You're on a good track.

Had really bad anxiety last night, was actually terrified to go to sleep. Feeling a bit better today. I am just trying to relax a bit.

But then our next door neighbor has somebody cutting trees down in our yard, which is actually 2 feet of her yard. No knock on the door, no hey mind if we do this now, nothing. Then is yelling at my wife and I for being rude and bad neighbors. I would also like to point out this lady has not come over to our house since my daughter passed away. No condolences or anything, never in checked in, but WE are the bad neighbors???

So this has not helped at all today. I just really cannot understand the behavior of some people.

On top of that all of my wife's kids are up today. While I love them very much it just making more obvious that my daughter is not here and it really makes me sad. But I know my wife needs to see her kids to, especially now. So I am just trying to get through. Some times my heart just start racing and the anxiety sets in.

Don't let other people get the best of you. Your neighbor is not worth any of your time if he or she didn't even give any condolences.

You find out who's really there for you when you're going through the worst times.

Exactly.

One of the best things you can do right now is to tune out all the people who don't care about you and tune in all the people who do.

I'm not sure if anyone asked, but you doing any sort of grief counseling?
