For me it's not so much a trust issue or fighting; it's just fiscally easier for us to have separate accounts, each being responsible for some bills. We can switch off on dining out, groceries, and misc stuff.

There is no 'best' way. Just whatever works best for the couple so there's always money available, bills paid on time, and no fighting over money.

I'm just happy local sports talk radio here has something else to talk about besides Aaron Hernandez. Even if the Nets/Celtics does not happy, it provides a nice break for people like me who are already over the whole Hernandez thing.

For me it isn't a trust issue. My wife has been married before and for her it is a safety net, woman's power of independence thing. My parents raised all their daughters to always have their own separate account and damn near all my friends that have daughters raised their's the same way.

Just a different mindset of modern times. Same way you got people living together before they get married. 30 years ago, hell in some places 20 years ago that would have never happened and would have been considered taboo.

Now as far as the NBA draft......the last time I watched it was when Derrick Rose was in it and I watched it when Lebron was in it. But other then that I haven't watched the draft on a regular basis since the 1990s.
