Re: Off Topic 2013

Yea I score every MLB game I go to, doesn't detract me from the action but totally understand why some would have no desire to do it.

Every time I try and do it I get through like 4 innings and just stop caring.

Re: Off Topic 2013

Whenever I go to MLB games I have to keep score. Have to. Force of habit I guess, since from my 8th grade year until my junior year, I kept scorebook for my HS varsity team, since I didn't play on the varsity. I love doing it, for whatever strange reason. It's kind of a lost art.

Scoring games as a fan brings you so much closer to the game. And if you score like I do, as in every pitch is recorded, you're paying attention to every single ball and strike.

Seriously, I score MLB the show CPU vs CPU games. I love scoring baseball.

Yeah I get that. I dunno, I just seem to do that anyway tho. I also like to talk with people about the little things, a hitch in a guys swing and stuff. And I can't do that while scoring

I feel the exact opposite, but I see where you're coming from. Scoring games (esp every pitch, which is how I score them as well back when I did) made me feel disconnected from the game.

LOL, when I was younger I would score my PC MVP and Hardball games and then go out in the yard afterwards and show "highlights" with my wiffleball bat lol.
