At Horseshoe Cleveland about to play in a $200 NL Holdem tournament. There are 64 entrants right now and more in line. Hope we get to over 100 today.

Re: Off Topic 2013

So with only 8 games left (7 NFL, 1 College) I'm going to finish with 365 football games on the 2012-2013 year. So I have literally watched a year's worth of football.

List, for those that care. If anybody sees an issue (cough cough burghfan cough) feel free to point it out.

Hmph. Nice list. One question though. How do you define a game as being "watched"? Do you have to watch every play or just a certain amount of each game.

Re: Off Topic 2013

I only watched around 15-20 full games (NFL and college) throughout the entire year. I find that the older I get, the less and less I care about watching sports. I still enjoy keeping up with them and tuning in to close games that are in the fourth quarter, but I'd rather do other things with my free time.

On that note, rather than going to pick up Season 5 of Mad Men, I started Homeland this weekend. I've watched the first six episodes so far and it's been pretty good. Especially, the 6th one. Even my wife, who wasn't at all interested in watching it at first, likes it so far. After we finished the last episode last night she said "one more" and I said "ummm, it's almost 1 am". That's how addicting it is. Plus, it perfect to watch in January because it's fulfilling my 24 fix that I've missed the last few years.

Yeah, I'm kinda the same way. I'll watch the Steelers and Pitt football, but usually just follow the Pirates, Penguins, and Pitt basketball on espn game tracker. As for college football, I generally watch parts of every game that I get on my TV. I'll watch one game until it goes to commercial then switch to the next game and just keep cycling through.

Re: Off Topic 2013

Ah, it's nice to finally sleep in my own bed!

Regarding the watching football all year deal...I think i've watched quite a bit but not as much as Watson in 2012 what with live NFL, NCAA, CFL and heck, even a Canadian college game (the Vanier Cup) plus my old broadcasts so there's never a shortage of stuff to watch through the year.

I think i'll make this a project of mine for 2013 and see how many games i've watched. Thanks Watson for the inspiration.

Re: Off Topic 2013

Seeing that a Cookman game is on there, I'm pretty sure he didn't watch more than a quarter of a lot of those games.
