Re: Pursuing an NBA Radio Broadcasting Career

Thank you for the terrific advice. I have some recordings of live radio broadcasts I've done for a university I currently work at for my portfolio. However, you're completely right in terms of learning multiple skills such as the switchboard. I will look into that.

Re: Pursuing an NBA Radio Broadcasting Career

If any of you are interested, I posted another broadcast on my YouTube channel. I make these videos on the side just to get more practice at calling games through repetition.

Really? Which one? UTSA? (if you don't mind my asking?)

UTSA would have been great but I'll be doing games for the other DI program in SA, the University of the Incarnate Word.

Oh sure. They just transitioned up to FCS. Nicely done that's a good opportunity.

You should have fun doing the football games. Ricky Williams is a coach there.

Re: Pursuing an NBA Radio Broadcasting Career

I just wanted to pop in and wish you the best of luck. Color me impressed!

I am absolutely floored at how talented you are. I genuinely believe if you go down this avenue and pursue a career out if it, you will land a broadcasting job. And I'd wager a damn good one eventually.

Thank you so much for sharing and I look forward to hearing you again.
