Odd thought I had yesterday.

I have honked my horn while driving probably less than 10 times for the 11 years I've been driving.

I rarely honk, usually it's only if the light has been green a few seconds and we still haven't started moving

I was in Philly last week and some guy honked at the car ahead of him to go about a half a second before the light turned green.

I only honk when I see someone, say, trying to merge into a lane on the freeway at the last minute causing backup in the lane that I'm in. Usually accompanied with a gesture that is oh-so-Matrix-like. Those people are the worst.

I also live in a hilly area so I honk when I'm going around curves to make sure nobody's coming the other way.

Gotta go to a wedding alone in an hour and a half with none of my closest friends around except for, well, the bride. I know a few people but not enough for me to have much fun. Can't even drink because of this no alcohol/no carbohydrate crap my doctor has me on. Gonna be boring as hell.
