How about some food math?

Apparently a single 18 inch pizza is bigger than two 12 inch pizzas.

That's actually a perfect GIF because the guy was wearing sunglasses and a hat and they both flew off just like that

that kinda makes sense because of the extra surface area, but I'm not one of the math guys that can throw a formula out to prove it haha, WTNY or Blzer could probly recite one off the top of their head

re: Off-Topic

Here's the math:

And that's just on paper. In reality I'm sure we all notice differences in pizzas. It won't be the exact size for various reasons (some intentional, some unintentional). And don't get me started on when places(regardless if it's a pizza place, or sub, or any kind of food) starts going real light on the toppings/ingredients. Sometimes it's as if they'd use same amount of toppings on a large vs a medium. It's one of the reasons I don't go to Subway anymore (that, and the fact that a sub cost as much as a medium pizza)

Groceries is the bigger thing people should look out for, especially since you can actually use math for most items since the amount is posted on the label. It's like the difference between a 50 cent bag of chips vs the same brand for $1 and $1.50. The $1 bag isn't twice the amount of the 50 cent bag, but the $1.50 bag has 4 times the amount as the 50 cent bag. But despite that, people still opt for multiple 50 cent bags, not realizing they're getting less for their money.
