Missouri finished the regular season with only one loss that came on a sim for the second straight year. They met up with rival Texas A&M in week 14 and won 21-7 but had to face the Aggies in a rematch in the SEC Championship. The league so the most turnover in users this season and that skewed the standings a bit but the top teams earned their spots. Yearly Recap

Year 4 (2017-2018)

There were 3 teams that separated themselves from the pack in the SEC: South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas A&M. All 3 teams were virtually unstoppable through the first 13 weeks of the season (only losing to each other) and each was in a position to contend for the national title in the closing weeks of the season. Texas A&M was upset by rival Missouri who was only 5-6 ending their championship run. In the SEC Championship A&M had a chance to knock off SC but the Gamecocks prevailed. The National Championship pit rivals #1 South Carolina and #2 Georgia against each other and SC walked away with a close win for their first National Championship.

South Carolina was led by the best player in the country RB David Williams, who won his second Heisman trophy. South Carolina's defense finally stepped up allowing SC to finish their big games. This season was all SC.

Yearly Recap

Year 5 (2018-2019)

This season started with a power shift with a few programs as Maurice resigned from South Carolina after winning the National Title and Hogan who had ran the West opted to take a new job in Alabama. With Alabama being a few steps down from A&M this opened up the door for anyone to take control of the SEC, which was assumed to be Georgia going in but it was Auburn who took advantage. Auburn put all the pieces together and ran through the league with a perfect 14-0 season. No one really challenged the Tigers this year, could have been a down year for the conference or maybe Auburn separated themselves by that much, but either way this season was "Auburn and the SEC". Tennessee had their best season and could be a contender next year. Georgia and Alabama had surprisingly bad years for their expectations.

Auburn running back Aaron Hicks won the Heisman, Offensive Player of the Year, and Running Back of the Year. Hicks was everything Williams was the year before for SC, except Auburn passed more. Hicks was still just as valuable.

National Champion: Auburn

SEC Champion: Auburn

Heisman: Aaron Hicks (Auburn)

SEC Standings:
#1 Auburn 14-0 (10-0)
#7 Missouri 11-3 (7-3)

Yearly Recap

Year 6 (2019-2020)

The start of this season looked to be Auburn on the West side and a toss up on the East side with Georgia being the most talented team, South Carolina getting their coach back with a chance to run that side again, Tennessee with their best shot at a conference title run, and Missouri still as the team that always finishes in the top at the end of the year. Auburn didn't have the separation they expected on the West with Alabama having a 10-1 record going into the Iron Bowl, a game that the Tigers would eventually win convincingly to secure the West. Georgia dealt with a QB battle but managed to win their games against all 3 top opponents in the East and only fell to their bitter rival Auburn. Alabama's 10-1 record going into week 14 was a complete turn around from last season. SC and Tennessee expected much better seasons but both teams underachieved.

Individually this was the year of the runningback in the SEC. Georgia's Charles Beverly and South Carolina's Robert Brooks were neck and neck statistically finishing with 2,200 yards and about 24 tds respectively. Auburn's true freshman Dustin King didn't have that caliber of stats but was the key to Auburn's wins offensively replacing last year's Heisman winner Aaron Brooks. LSU and Auburn also had SR RBs get a little Heisman buzz as well, although this is the first year in Rivals that an SEC player did not win the Heisman.

National Champion: Auburn

SEC Champion: Auburn

Heisman: Derrick Fletcher (BYU)

SEC Standings:
